DAY+
DAY+ programmes are the versions of DAY that add content relevant to a particular community, faith or culture. So often the teaching or received wisdom of these may cause members of them to feel abuse is acceptable, condoned or even encouraged.
DAY+ is about enabling young people to understand that if their culture or religion leads to the abuse of women, there needs to be a new understanding of those teachings and received wisdoms that are perpetuating abuse.
Training for DAY+ enables Session Leaders to lead both DAY sessions and the particular DAY+ version they train for. At present the DAY+ versions we have are:
